How To: Style Silk Pyjamas

Agreed, we could be biased but personally, we think our silk pyjamas are too pretty to be confined to the bedroom.  Luckily, the pyjama trend that was all over fashion week has made it acceptable to wear your favourite nightwear out and about and we couldn’t be happier about it.

More of us than ever before are starting to work remotely, or on a freelance basis and the lines between loungewear and formal dressing have started to blur.  Dress-codes don’t apply, and we want our wardrobe to be multi-functional which is why we’re embracing the PJ’s.

The key to success is how you style them.  Whether you dress your pyjamas up with heels and accessories, or dress them down with jeans or a t-shirt, it’s totally up to you.  Don’t be shy, the sky’s the limit!

THE GLAM Co-ord

Be brave and wear the Pyjama Set with some heeled sandals and a sultry red lipstick of your choice. We like Black paired with a classic Leather Biker Jacket for Autumn and Blush in Spring.

The Shlouse

Probably the easiest (and safest) look of the lot – simply pair your Silk Night Shirt with jeans, then simply take off your jeans and you’re ready to dive back into bed. Sounds ideal to us!

The Silk Trouser

For a more daring look, wear your silk pyjama bottoms with an elegant Lace Bralette and a classic Blazer. Or throw on your favourite white Tee for a dressed down option.

THE slinky ROBE

A silk robe is a show-stealer and only needs a few simple pieces to accompany it.  Double up the silk and layer over a Cami.

The Chemise Dress

The Silk Chemise is so versatile you’ll end up wearing it out more than at home!  We love it contrasted with a Leather Biker Jacket.  For a relaxed, comfier look – pair with an oversized Cable Cardigan.

*Word of warning: these looks probably won’t work quite as well with your 10-year-old matching Spongebob set, but hey, who are we to judge?
