Summer is in full swing with temperatures getting higher (a rarity in the UK), most of us go into panic mode and start buying a new summer wardrobe, BBQ’s and stocking up on all kinds of drinks. Even though most of us love soaking up the sun, we have to admit it takes us roughly 10 minutes before we start getting hot and bothered.
To help keep you cool in this heat, our team at Truly have put together a small guide.
Once the sun starts shining, it’s the perfect time to revamp your bedding and give your bedroom that fresh feel. To help you sleep comfortably during the night, we recommend using 100% cotton fabrics as it’s known for its airy feel and breathability, which is a huge bonus for those of us that overheat during the summer nights.
SLEEP NIGHT SPRAY
If you’re struggling to drift off, try spraying a mist of relaxing scents to your pillow before getting into bed. Infused with aromatherapy calming ingredients which will reduce that hot and bothered feeling whilst trying to fall asleep.
Figuring out what to wear in this heat can be a challenge, especially when it comes to office wear. However, we’ve got the perfect suggestions that are versatile enough to take you from work mode to garden party.
BEAT THE HEAT
Linen is known for it’s lightweight and airy feel making it perfect for the season. That’s why we’re loving our range of summer midi dresses that are cut to flatter, and nip you in the waist ( a godsend after all these BBQs).
It’s that time of the year where picnics are the favourite when it comes to meeting up with family and friends. What more could you ask for? Food, drinks, and great company. Plus, with the relaxed lockdown rules, it just got better. So, we thought we’d make it that little bit easier to organise, and provide a list of foods and picnic essentials that you may need.
